KISS - Crisis intervention centre for queer sex workers
KISS, the crisis intervention centre for hustlers, is a project of the AHF. Close to the scene and easy to access, the contact point in Taunusstraße 38 offers basic material, medical and social care for men, as well as transgender people, who work as sex workers in the Main metropolis. In addition, the staff provide information about HIV and AIDS, as well as other sexually transmitted diseases, carry out prevention work, and offer support and care in the event of an infection.
At KISS, food and drinks are available for the clients, they can take a shower, wash their clothes, talk to other queer sex workers, play games or simply withdraw from the hard everyday life of the scene. The clients are provided with condoms and lubricants, and qualified staff are available for counselling and to accompany clients to doctors and authorities. If necessary, the social workers intervene in crises and explore ways to leave sex work completely with their clients.
