bASIS - the AHF day centre
The bASIS is a meeting place for people affected by HIV with many offers and activities to counteract isolation and loneliness of the individual. It offers support to all those who, due to their illness, can only participate in social and community life to a limited extent.
The bASIS has two open services where relatives and friends are also invited:
- Monday breackfast

Monday breakfast: Over a delicious breakfast, there is the opportunity to get to know each other and to have an informal exchange with each other, as well as with the staff of AHF.
Every Monday from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

- Wednesday Coffee

Every Wednesday, Isabell Juretzek and Pirmin Starck invite you to coffee and cake. Supported by hard-working helpers, delicious baked goods are served and you can enjoy the time chatting or break out some cards for a game or two!
Every Wednesday from 2.30 to 4.30 pm.

For all those who do not always want to eat alone or do not feel like cooking for themselves, the AHF offers the possibility of a joint lunch. Bookings for lunch should be made at the latest the day before.
Monday to Friday from 12.30 to 13.30.

Walking: We have been offering a walking group for many years for all those who want to exercise outdoors and in the community. The walking group meets once a week.
Every Wednesday from 10 am to 12.30 pm.

Pilates: We also meet once a week for Pilates. Pilates is utilises a mixture of gymnastic exercises for stretching, muscle building and relaxation.

- Culture Club

In January 2017, the Culture Club was founded. Once a month we visit a cultural event, be it theatre, concerts or an exhibition.

Our monthly programme flyer, which is available on site, provides information about other changing leisure activities; such as excursions, bowling, etc.
